From the bustling streets of New York City to the courtroom battlegrounds of criminal defense, I am a relentless advocate for justice, unwavering in my commitment to my clients and their rights. My journey began at the Innocence Project at Cooley Law School, where I spent two and a half transformative years fighting to exonerate the wrongfully convicted. Each case deepened my resolve and honed my skills, propelling me into the realm of court-appointed felony defense, where I tackled the most challenging cases head-on.
With a diverse practice that spans both criminal and civil law, I have successfully guided clients through a myriad of legal challenges, from launching a coffee shop to dismantling wrongful contract claims. My expertise in private practice proved invaluable in the Member Benefits Department, where I adeptly resolved complex disputes related to group benefits, workers' compensation, and long-term disability. My tenure as a Public Defender solidified my reputation as a formidable trial attorney, with a track record of securing non-guilty verdicts in high-stakes cases involving drunk driving, child abuse, and obstructing justice.
Outside the courtroom, my tenacity doesn't wane. I channel my competitive spirit into training for my next race, constantly pushing my limits at the gym. When I take a break from the hustle, you'll find me immersed in a great book on my deck, savoring the quiet moments. I am also a proud mother of three energetic boys and a devoted wife to my incredible husband, who shares my passion for the law. Together, we navigate the challenges of family life while championing our clients in the pursuit of justice. In every aspect of my life, I am driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence—both in the courtroom and at home.
